According to TMZ, Rachel Roy alleged that her Gmail and iCloud accounts had been hacked. Also her cell phone number had been changed without permission. The LAPD is investigating Beyonce’s fiercely loyal fan group, the BEYHIVE.
Now, you all remember when Beyonce dropped Lemonade in April and much was made about the song Sorry. On that track, Queen Bey repeats the phrase “he better call Becky with the good hair” twice. The interwebs immediately went to work to discover who “Becky” was. The “he” of course being her husband Jay-Z. The album was an opus to his alleged extramarital affairs and her emotional responses. The consensus is, Becky refers to fashion designer Rachel Roy. Who also happens to be Jay’s former business partner, Dame Dash’s ex-wife. Roy did herself no favors by posting a photo on Instagram with the caption “good hair don’t care.” ‘Becky’ could very well have been a direct reference to Roy but it is also a general character that we all know. Do I have to say it? You know who Becky is…
We all remember how the BEYHIVE went in on Roy via social media. Immediately following the social media attack is when she reported the alleged hack to the police. The LAPD has been given a search warrant to look through phone and email records to see if they can figure out who was responsible. There is no guarantee that the police will actually find the culprit or that a member of the BEYHIVE is responsible. But if they are able to discover the source of the hack, it would be interesting to know if he/she is a Beyonce fan.
