Sun, fun and getting arrested for transmitting cocaine, just another great vacation.
Cruise ship passengers Isabelle Lagace and Melina Roberge were arrested on Sunday in Australia with a stash of cocaine valued at $30 million.
According to the New York Daily News, the ladies boarded the Sea Princess cruise ship in July, documenting their adventure on instagram. During one of their numerous ports of call, the drugs were transported onto the boat where the ladies and a third suspect hid them in their suitcases. After an extensive search, authorities discovered and seized 95 kilograms of cocaine when the trio arrived in Australia. A third suspect has been identified as André Tamine of Quebec.
Quite a feat to transport a large quantity of drugs in plain sight on a cruise ship. Presumably the trio operated on the assumption that two pretty girls on vacation would never been suspected of pushing weight.
