The young Wolves are ready to pounce on the competition with Tom Thibodeau at the helm, but it does not look like Kevin Garnett is going to be the veteran voice in the locker room. According to Marc Stein, KG and the Wolves are talking buyout.
Minnesota and Kevin Garnett are in advanced discussions on a buyout expected to end KG's second stint with the Wolves, league sources say.

Sadly, this could mean that there will be no KG retirement tour that ends with Garnett swatting 12 shots in his last game and screaming “Any Thing Is Possible!!” amid a flurry of expletives. If this is the end for KG, he will go down as one of the greatest to ever do it, and probably the most passionate. His take no prisoners and make no friends approach to the game will truly be missed, as we continue to adjust to the BFF era of the NBA.
