The matchup between powerhouses Alabama and USC was the most anticipated contest of week one, but it ended up being a major disappointment.
Alabama went to roll USC to the tune of 52-6, which gave Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin all of the ammo he needed.

If you’re not familiar with the story, when former USC athletic director Pat Haden fired Kiffin, legend said Kiffin was on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport.
However, Kiffin cleared things up.
“I was a good 20 yards off the tarmac,” Kiffin said.
Nonetheless, Kiffin is having fun with it.
