It’s iOS release day, but as usual it’s causing problems for users trying to download.
It’s been reported by multiple users the new iOS 10 update is bricking their iPhone and iPad forcing them to reset their device through iTunes.
The iOS 10 update just did this to ten of my @wsj colleagues’ iPhones. Definitely stand by before upgrading. pic.twitter.com/Mv87cFkHSM

Apple has released a statement on the issue and a fix to those who are still in trouble.

Apple users should know by now not to install the update through their device on the first day since the servers will congested. I recommend downloading it through iTunes instead that way you can back up your data and go back if necessary. I’ve been using iOS 10 through the public beta for a little over a month now and have had no issues with it.
