BSO was live at Tuesday night’s NBA Draft Lottery. The Celtics, Lakers, and 76ers will pick 1, 2, and 3. Many of the players in this year’s draft class were in attendance. These young men all hope to be in the lottery and most of them will. One player who is certainly going to be a first round pick but at the moment is on the fringe of the lottery is North Carolina forward Justin Jackson.
Jackson was the Tar Heels leading scorer this season and instrumental in the Heels championship run. He’s a 6’8″ wing with three-point range, though his jumper needs to be more consistent. He will also have to add weight so that he can bang on the defensive end with the league’s best wing players. He is very decisive when he gets the ball in attack mode and is a pretty good catch and shoot player.
I spoke with Justin at tonight’s draft lottery and he is looking forward to his NBA career. Take a look at the video below.
My thanks to Justin Jackson for taking some time to speak with us.
