Vikings had an unfortunate year in 2016 with the loss QB, Teddy Bridgewater, along with the needed surgery for head coach, Mike Zimmer, the Vikings prepared themselves for a long season.
Luckily for Viking fans, there are some good news, Mike Zimmer is looking forward to heading back to the sidelines as soon as possible, even if its with one eye. During a conference call, Zimmer confirmed that the retirement rumors can be put to rest, he’s coming back… and soon,
“Unfortunately, I have too much time on my hands now and so I hear, ‘Oh, this might shorten his coaching career.’ … I’ll be back shortly, with one eye or two, it doesn’t really matter. I’m’a be back. We can put that retiring thing to bed quickly,” Zimmer told reporters.
And Zimmer, has never been totally absent from the Vikings’ organization, he’s been participative via teleconference and watching film. Once a coach, always a coach.
