As expected Russell Westbrook walked away with the NBA MVP award on Monday night. The award was well deserved as Westbrook averaged a triple double and led his team to the playoffs.
Oklahoma City Thunder fans took to Twitter with the #OurMVP The team and their fan base had a rallying cry all year after the team’s former MVP, Kevin Durant left in free agency to join the Warriors.
This should be a proud moment for OKC and their fans, but something tells me they’re still thinking about KD. I took to Twitter and sure enough OKC fans couldn’t be happy with their man winning the MVP, they had to take shots at KD. That makes me wonder, if you’re guy (Westbrook) is the MVP, why are you mad? Why are you thinking about KD?
