I’m pretty sure most Celtics fans are chomping their nails right now over this possible rescinded trade involving stars Isaiah Thomas & Kyrie Irving, however; ex-Celtic Jae Crowder seems flatly unbothered by the chatter.
He was spotted recently sporting full CAVS gear in Atlanta while working out at Georgia Tech:

With both sides remaining mum on the next step after the Cavs discovered Thomas’ injury to possibly be more severe than initially thought, it’s hard to know which direction talks are flowing.
If the trade does fall apart, I can only imagine the awkwardness in both Celtics & Cavs locker rooms. How would LeBron look at Kyrie after the star guard’s distain for playing with him became public knowledge? How would Isaiah Thomas fare in Boston after basically being told he wasn’t as good as his largest conference rival…only months removed from playing days after his sister’s tragic death?
The Celtics stand to lose more than the Cavs from seemingly trying to pull a fast one. Cleveland has the power to veto the trade if the Celtics don’t sweeten the pot, and judging by the scenarios I just painted; doing just that is in their best interest.
Ball is in your court Danny Ainge.
