New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, is no stranger to the devastation of hurricanes. OBJ is a Louisiana native and was 13 years old when Katrina ravaged the state. He knows that recovery is not possible without the combined efforts of citizens all across the country. Beckham pledged $100K to the Harvey relief efforts through Americare and Samaritans Purse.
OBJ is not alone, as many celebrities and athletes have given their time and resources to aid in the recovery efforts. It’s always nice to see these individuals with tremendous platforms doing good. Beckham took to Twitter with a simple message:

Beckham left detailed instructions on his website on how you can donate money, and other items needed for the people suffering in Houston.
