This is great news if you are an Oklahoma City fan and bad news for Lakers fans.
If Paul George likes playing in OKC he might stay, same for Melo. This shows that Russell is in it for the long haul and may attract even more players to OKC. I think Carmelo might still try to sign with the banana boat crew, but George’s chances of staying have gone way up.
Also if LeBron’s masterplan was to team up with Russ and PG in LA that has gone by the wayside.
