Black women are always targets and they are treated badly in the world of sports media. Many of the same media members who were quick to condemn Cam Newton have been silent on Donald Trump’s treatment of Jemele Hill.
ESPN employees have to tread carefully because they see what has happened to Jemele and it could easily happen to them.
Josina Anderson though stood up to Trump’s bully and defended her co-worker in the process.
It would be nice to see more ESPN employees do this, but don’t count on it happening.
