Marcus Peters was there to save the day when a kid really wanted a pair of Jordan’s. It’s something that we can all smile at because I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there before.
I wish I had a Marcus Peters around me when I really wanted the Olympic 7’s when they released in 2004. Till this day, those sneakers is something my closet desires but alas, stories like this make me smile. At the tender age of 12, ZaMarion Coffie will have memories to last him a lifetime and even when he outgrows these sneakers, he’ll always value this random act of kindness.
Twelve-year-old ZaMarion Coffie was browsing a shoe store with his mother, Larissa Coffie, on Saturday when he showed her a pair of $200 Air Jordan Retro 5s he wanted, according to Pete Grathoff of the Kansas City Star. Larissa told ZaMarion to put them back because they had to leave, and after he did as she asked, Peters approached them and offered to buy the shoes.
This photo is everything.
