Gal Gadot, the star of this year’s Wonder Woman film, confirmed on TODAY that producer Brett Ratner will not be involved in the making of the sequel to the movie. Reports of sexual misconduct by Ratner surfaced. Gadot also said that if he would still be involved in the making of the film, she would not accept the role.
“The truth is, there’s so many people involved in making this movie—it’s not just me—and they all echoed the same sentiments,” said Gadot on TODAY. “You know what I mean? So everyone knew what was the right thing to do, but there was nothing for me to actually come and say because it was already done before this article came out.”
Ratner’s lawyer is denying all accusations on his behalf. One of the accusers is also being sued for libel.
