Nicki Minaj’s Brother Jelani Maraj has been found guilty on Thursday of raping a minor.
New York Daily News reports that jurors found Miraj guilty after a three-week long trial in which the accuser gave explicit details of what the accuser, her step-father, did to her when she was 11. In addition to testimony the prosecution supplied DNA evidence to support their claim.
The jury deliberated for two days before handing over a verdict convicting Miraj of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child. Miraj faces a sentence of 15 years to life for the sexual assault conviction.
Miraj reportedly plans to appeal the conviction and maintains the charges were part of an attempt to extort Nicki Minaj for $25 million.
