Yesterday, LiAngelo and LaMelo ball signed contracts to play professional basketball with the Lithuanian team Prienu Vytautas. This comes after LaVar pulled LaMelo out of home schooling along with LiAngelo from UCLA.
TMZ Sports caught up with LaVar to get his thoughts on the move to Lithuania and there’s no concerns at all. When asked if he’s worried about not knowing the country’s language, he replied with “we’re going to play basketball.” LaVar also added that “there won’t be any struggles” regarding the move to Lithuania.
While LaMelo is only 16 and would have to play two more years of basketball to be eligible for the NBA Draft, LiAngelo would be allowed to enter the 2018 NBA Draft.
