It’s been said that time heals all wounds. Unless you are Nas and Kelis that is.
TMZ reports that the former married couple could be headed back to court to discuss their current child support arrangement. Kelis contends that Nas should pay more than the previously agreed upon $8,000 per month since their 8-year old son Knight requires more support financially and Nas’ income has increased since their agreement was first put in effect five years ago.
While it’s unclear how much more per month she is asking, new reported expenses include 50% of school-related costs, 50% of any childcare Kelis needs, and 50% of unreimbursed health care.
The request for more child support comes on the heels of Nas asking the judge in December to assist him with his request for more time with his son.
He’s asking a judge for Knight on the first, third and fifth weekend of each month from Friday after school through Monday morning.
Nas claims Kelis has dictated when, where and for how long he’s able to spend time with his son … and he’s had enough.
