It’s been a whole two days since the Eagles won their first Super Bowl championship. Today, the audio of how Nick Foles came to use the old switcheroo on the Patriots was shared.
To pull this off, I don’t think it had anything to do with luck-the Patriots probably didn’t think that the Eagles were smart enough to make it happen but it indeed worked out. As you may recall, the game never got out of hand and both teams were basically on each other’s heels. But this trick play set it off and solidified the Eagles despite there being time on the clock. Nick Foles came over to head coach Doug Pederson as he proposed this play.
