Adrian Peterson didn’t have the most productive season last year. He was with the New Orleans Saints to kick off the 2017 NFL season but was later traded to the Cardinals for a 2017 6th round pick.
TMZ spoke with the Hall Of Fame running back about his future and possibly playing for the Texans in his hometown.
“Obviously, being back home would be awesome. Houston has always been a team I’ve thought about.”
He continued,
“Being back here at home where I work out every day. My family is here. My family is close. My mom is here. Being around her a little more during this time [in my life] would be even more a cherry on top.”
Should Peterson hang them up? With Deshaun Watson set to return next season along with Lamar Miller in the backfield is there an opportunity for Peterson to find a role with the Texans?
