Former NFL Pro Bowler Brandon Albert was arrested in Atlanta on Wednesday on 2nd degree criminal damages and willful obstruction of a law officer, per TMZ Sports.
Reports are stating that Albert was arrested due to an altercation at a jewelry store. Police have not yet confirmed this as the official cause for the arrest. He was booked in Fulton County Jail.
Albert earned Pro Bowl honors twice with each coming with the Chiefs and Dolphins. He was in the NFL from 2008-2017. He retired with the Jaguars in August 2017 before playing his first regular season game with the team.
