Tyron Woodley recently said that he’s been training Floyd Mayweather for a possible UFC fight. There has been speculation about Mayweather testing out the octagon ever since his boxing win over MMA star Conor McGregor back in August.
TMZ Sports caught up with a few of Mayweather’s bodyguards Jizzy Mack and Greg La Rosa and they said that he is a very underrated wrestler and that people should not take him lightly. They also added that if there is anyone that could help improve Mayweather’s skills in MMA, Woodley is definitely the one.
Mayweather fighting in UFC would be interesting for sports fans but he is retired and already solified his boxing legacy as an undefeated fighter. There would be no need for people to start focusing on how he all of a sudden decided to step in the octagon. One thing that would definitely entice Mayweather though for a UFC fight is a six figure pay day.
