The first episode of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook talk show, Red Table Talk, debuted, and Jada brought Will Smith’s ex-wife on to the show as her first guest.
Sheree Fletcher and Jada had a very open and a very honest conversation about how difficult it was for Sheree to accept becoming a blended family. Especially because Sheree and Will shared a three-year-old son at the time: Trey Smith.
In Jada’s words:
Because I did not understand marriage, I did not understand divorce, I probably should have fell back.
Sheree, who has clearly moved on from her marriage with Will, jokingly quipped:
You think?
However, there are clearly still some issues that these women will probably never be able to ignore. At one point, Sheree goes into tears, while talking about explaining Jada’s and Will’s new relationship to their son Trey:
So Trey comes home and I said, ‘How did you like Miss Jada?’ He said, ‘I really liked her, Mommy.
