The first week sales are in for Pusha T’s Daytona & A$AP Rocky’s Testing.
Pusha T has had a lot of obvious buzz surrounding Daytona because of his beef with Drake; Drake’s mother; Drake’s father; Drake’s producer, OVO 40; Drake’s baby’s momma; and Drake’s son, Adidon (respectively).
Normally, we have to wait for Maury Povich to confirm or deny the DNA test of a little one.
Fortunately for us, A$AP was still seeing Drake’s baby momma Sophie when she first got pregnant with Drizzy’s son Adidon; and, according to our sources, Lord Flacko Jodye passed that intel on over to Pusha.
However, according to Hits Daily Double, the fans are still bumping A$AP Rocky’s Testing more, by a slight margin.
Testing (74,538 albums) out-sold Daytona (72,349 albums) by just over 1,000 units.
In the grand scheme, those are good numbers for both of the rappers—and any artist for that matter.
Still, in this new era of “hip-hop”, those numbers place both of them nearly 40,000 units below Post Malone’s new album, Beerbongs & Bentleys (118,642 albums).
