The infamous JR Smith blunder in Game 1 of the NBA Finals just became more infamous..if that’s even possible.
The NBA is auctioning Smith’s game-worn black jersey from Game 1 with a current bid of $3,000 as of 10:58 a.m. ET Monday morning.
Smith was wearing the jersey when he squandered the Cavs’ chance at coming away with at least one win in the series. With the final seconds ticking away, Smith rebounded George Hill’s missed free throw and dribbled the clock out with the game tied. The Cavs went on to lose 124-114 on the way to being swept.
