Even though she had to reach out to Drake herself, Big Freedia says she isn’t holding any grudge against Drake after the rapper gave her a couple cameos in the In My Feelings music video.
Their issues all began when Drake debuted the music video for Nice For What.
In the very beginning of the song, Drizzy used the NOLA bounce artist’s vocal to set the tone for the song and video, but Big Freedia never got the call from Drake’s team to make an appearance in the shoot, herself.
Obviously, this raised many eyebrows as Big Freedia is a vocal leader in the LGBTQ community, and Drake essentially snubbed her supermodels.
Ironically, that song is about men playing games, and women needing to be “Nice For What.”
While Freedia’s fan probably still feel some type of way about her not having an appearance in Nice For What, Freedie says that her appearances in In My Feeling amount to an unspoken peace offering between the two artists.
