Broncos’ Punter Marquette King isn’t a fan of dealing with the media and it showed during training camp. He appeared on 104.3 The Fan with former Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley and Zach Bye and the interview was over after a minute and a half.
King gave very short answers and the hosts asked why he was doing that. King simply replied that he didn’t like talking football. King also tweeted emojis taking shots at Darren McKee, who also is part of that radio station.
McKee soon fired back at King and said that an apology is needed for his rude radio interview with Stokley and Bye. He finished by saying “Best of luck punting the ball in Denver. Somehow our show will survive without you.”
At Sunday’s training camp, King sad to McKee “Do we have a problem? Keep my name out of your mouth.” McKee replied boldly with “Or what.”
King definitely has something to prove after being cut by the Raiders for his outgoing personality. It’ll be interesting to see if he has beef with anyone else this season.
