Lil Wayne’s annual Lil Weezyana Fest took place this weekend and the most memorable moment was Birdman apologizing on stage for their beef over the years that ended this summer. The long-time Cash Money rappers have had disputes over releasing Wayne’s music. Wayne has now collected his millions in a settlement and can release his long-awaited Carter V album. Following the apology, the two performed the classic Cash Money hit record ‘Stay Fly.’
Fellow Cash Money rapper Nicki Minaj performed at the festival and the crowd wasn’t feeling her at all. She performed her verse on Tekashi69’s hit single ‘FEFE‘ and the crowd was dead quiet. This is possibly due to her taking her anger out on social media towards Travis Scott, his daughter Stormi and almost everyone else for her album ‘Queen‘ not beating out Scott’s new album ‘Astroworld‘ for the top album in the country. Many also don’t approve of her working with 69’s due to his legal past.
