Lawyer Christina Ignatius is well known lawyer and law tutor in California. She found herself under scrutiny as of late due to a recent racist Facebook post. She took to social media to address the new movie that has seen quite a lot of success ‘Crazy Rich Asians.’ Ignatius post had a lot of people on social media disgruntled after the post was circulated.
Ignatius titled the post ‘THE ASIANS TOOK OVER ORANGE COUNTY.’ She wrote in the post that Orange County were exceeding the amount of Asians she believes should be in the county apparently. ‘They have a zoned-in personality where they act as if no one else exists and they just run straight in front of you to grab the next purse,’ Ignatius wrote.
Ignatius is a law tutor as well, referring to herself on her Facebook page as the best in the State. She continued to put offensive statements in the post
‘They keep telling me that they are attending UCRA,’ she wrote. ‘ I need to translate that into my head to deduce that they are going to UCLA,’ she continued. Ending the post she writes ‘From one annoying thing to another, welcome the Asians!’
The social media backlash was so bad after the soon deleted post that the Asian community is asking for her lisense to be suspended. She was able to post again of Facebook explaining she didn’t think that anybody would take offense to the post. She was wrong, check out the Facebook post and social media reaction below.
