After getting scorched for not having a Atlanta rapper and/or singer for Super Bowl LIII, the NFL went and booked an Atlanta-based artist. However, there’s a catch.
The artist will be a R&B group named Final Draft.
Final Draft, who became famous when they appeared on ‘America’s Got Talent’, will perform for the Super Bowl event but not for half time. TMZ reports the group will perform twice, in and outside the stadium. One set is for the GameDay Fan Plaza inside the stadium and the other set is for the Players Tailgate Party which is a few blocks down the road.
It’s nice that the Atlanta group will get some exposure but I don’t think that’s quite what the Atlanta music lovers were asking for.
