Before the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers were viewed as one of the favorites to be playing in the Super Bowl this Sunday. However, things didn’t go as planned.
It all started with Le’Veon Bell electing to sit out the entire season and then Antonio Brown started causing havoc within the locker room. There were reports of him and Ben Roethlisberger not being on the same page. The top receiver even skipped a week 17 walk-through and now he wants out.
Nonetheless, in the midst of all the drama, Juju Smith-Schuster had a great season. He hauled in 111 balls to go along with 1,426 yards, but he’s tired of the nonsense surrounding as well.
“I think everyone has to stop being divas. I think we need to stop being the Kardashians and just play ball,” he said.
Then he added.
“Being in that locker room, I’ve learned a lot,” he added. “I know that I would never want to be a problem to any franchise.”
Although Brown wants out, the players who have spoken up want him back. After all, he gives Pittsburgh a much better shot at winning a Super Bowl.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
