Michael Vick as we know has one of the more checkered pasts for a player of his caliber. As Soon as he stepped on the field as a rookie 2001, he lit the NFL on fire. From his expected positive play throwing down the field, he brought an element of explosiveness to the QB position that the league had never seen before. But as we all know, that success and flash was put on hold when he got in trouble with the law.
So when Michael Vick joined the Eagles fresh out of prison, there was some push back from Eagles fans. Vick put those negative screams to rest, as he looked like he had never left. But when Andy Reid was fired, you couldn’t help but wonder how Vick felt. Reid was the coach who gave him a second chance and the results panned out well. Chip Kelly was inserted and maybe you’d imagine Vick having a lot of success in Kelly’s up tempo, spread offense. When in reality, Vick was frustrated with Chip and his process.
