The New England Patriots advanced to another Super Bowl by the way of a 37-31 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Tom Brady was good in that game, throwing for over 340 yards and a touchdown, but throwing 2 interceptions as well. During that game though, a weird situation unfolded regarding something you’d never expect with a football game, a laser.
That’s right, the NFL is investigating a report of a green laser being pointed in Tom Brady’s face during the game.
NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy says the league is “looking into the report of the laser beam” being directed at New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, according to the Boston Herald‘s Joe Dwinell.
I understand a lot of fans are sick and tired of the Patriots somehow finding ways to keep up this incredibly amazing success. But pointing lasers? Come on now, just sit down and watch the game, a great game at that. Plus, why risk being thrown out of a great game in which you probably paid a 2 wallets full of money for the tickets? I mean I just don’t get it at all.
