You have heard that expression before, but you do have to wonder if some of those apologies are just to make sure people keep their brand clean.
Do Nick Cannon, Lady Gaga or B2K really care about what R Kelly was doing or do they just care about protecting the check? It could be a little bit of both.
Cannon posted a lengthy apology for doing the song Gigolo with Kels and tagged Kelly in the post. I found it a little odd that he actually has the song and video playing in the background of the post.
If you are muting someone, promoting the music in your apology is a bit problematic, but I digress.
