L.A. Movie Star/producer and A & R LeBron James, for the first time since his second year in the league (that is nuts), will most likely be watching the postseason from his house along with a bunch of guys on his team he may or may not have attempted to trade for Anthony Davis. Did I mention Lebron was a GM? On top of all that he finds time to be a basketball player.
Now that things are not goings as planned on the court, many feel that James is beginning to lash out at his teammates more in the public eye or ear according to bleacherreport.com.
“I’ve never seen him like this, and I’m a little shocked because I’ve been around him and thought he was more of a leader,” a Western Conference executive said. “All of a sudden, I’m seeing a different LeBron. Dude, don’t do that; you’re hurting yourself. The best thing he can do is tell everybody, ‘My guys have been great, I can do better, and we need to continue to improve as a team.’ He hasn’t done that. Instead, he’s throwing people under the bus.”
Some are linking the demise of the Lakers to Christmas Day injury that sidelined the teams best player. Since that fateful injury, the Lakers are a dismal 10-21 and not looking to improve. LeBron is 34 years old with his most explosive days behind him and is staring in the face of his own basketball mortality and it seems he is doing everything in his power to maintain his legacy…even if it means attempting to deconstruct the current roster to one that suits his needs. Hopefully, for the sake of Lakers fans, this year can be a stepping stone for future greatness. Follow me on the Twitter @SBReports706.
