The WWE has lost a legend.
King Kong Bundy has passed away at the age of 61.
Famously known for his Wrestlemania 2 steel cage match with Hulk Hogan, Bundy was one of WWE’s most beloved figures.
The 458 pound Bundy competed against the likes of The Undertaker, The ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase and many more.
Bundy, who’s real name was Christopher Pallies, made his WWF debut in 1981.
Bundy also became a pop-culture crossover star appearing in sitcoms such as ‘Married With Children’ and ‘Boy Meets World’.
Details on the cause of Bundy’s have not been disclosed at this time.
WWE released a statement today via Twitter saying,
“WWE is saddened to learn that King Kong Bundy has passed away.”
