The loss of Nipsey Hussle has definitely taken a toll on his friends, family, and everyone in the hip-hop community over the past week. His funeral will be held at the STAPLES Center in his hometown of Los Angeles on Thursday. Tickets were free to the public today but quickly ran out online after 20 minutes.
Diddy recently posted a video to Instagram about the emotions he’s been experiencing with the passing of his friend Nipsey and his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, who he had three children with. The Bad Boy CEO said he’s been holding a lot of emotions in and that it’s time to let it all out. He said he cried for three hours.
“I ain’t gon’ lie, I been holding a lot of s*** in lately. I just had a three and a half hour cry and let it all out… or as much as I could tap into. And that s*** felt great. Sometimes you gotta let that s*** out. I’m just saying to everybody out there — man, woman and child. Don’t be leaving nothing bottled up, you know what I’m saying? Let that thing out. God will be right there. He’ll let you know, come on, let’s get up, let’s go. I had me a three and a half hour cry. God is good. Let it go, y’all. Message me from me.”
Diddy was on point with his message. We go through so much on a daily basis that we often think that the only result is to bottle up all of these feelings. Flip the page to watch Diddy vent about his losses.
