Nicole Lynn has broken down multiple barriers and made history Thursday night during the NFL Draft.
Lynn, who is an agent with Young Money APAA Sports, represents Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. Ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft Williams was been pegged unanimously by draft pundits as a generational talent. The top of the draft began with Williams coming off the board quickly at third overall to the New York Jets. The choice solidified Nicole Lynn in history as the first Black woman to represent a first round pick in the top 5 of the NFL Draft.
In a BET interview, Lynn shared that Williams told her, “We’re going to do this together. We’re going to make history and make change in sports for women.” That’s exactly what they did. In a male dominated industry, Lynn is the outlier. At only 30 years of age she is an NFL agent in a field where only 5% of certified agents are women.
Congrats to Nicole Lynn on the truly amazing honor and opening doors for others to follow in her foot steps.
