Jussie Smollett’s legal troubles with the City of Chicago continue and no matter what happens next, his career has suffered irrevocable damage.
As previously reported, the City of Chicago is taking civil action against Smollett, amounting to $130,000, to recoup funds spent investigating his alleged attack in January. TMZ caught up with Smollett is southern California and asked what he’s planning on doing with regards to the suit.
Smollett has been relatively tip-lipped since the Chicago District Attorney dropped charges but maintains the attack was very real and he had no part in orchestrating it.
TMZ captured video of Smollett leaving an office in the San Fernando Valley where he didn’t respond to questions.
