It must run in the family.
Lakers guard Lonzo Ball covered his Triple Bs tattoo a couple weeks ago. However, per TMZ Sports, the same artist that did Lonzo’s cover-up put new ink on his brother LaMelo last month too.
Tattoo artist Herchell Carrasco says LaMelo wanted wings and his jersey number on his chest, and the whole piece took about 4 hours to complete. Apparently there’s still about an hour of work left to be done, but LaMelo made sure the new ink was visible through his tank during his workout Thursday, so LaMelo must be happy with the work.
Tattoos have been a pretty big topic in the Ball family. In addition to Lonzo covering up the BBBs with dice a couple weeks ago, LaVar Ball famously flipped out over LiAngelo Ball’s ink on their Facebook reality show last year. I wonder how LaVar will react after seeing LaMelo’s new ink.
Props to Herchell Carrasco, the tattoo artist. So far, this came out pretty good.
