NBC 4 news anchor David Ushery was on the air reporting on a story involving a dog who was rescued 135 miles off the coast of Thailand. He said the dog gave a new phrase to “doggy style” instead of his intended “doggy paddle” word.
Ushery’s slip-up resulted in him and his co-anchor Stacey Bell cracking up shortly before continuing to discuss the story. Ushery said there was simply no way around it. As far as the dog goes, workers found the animal swimming towards an oil rig and they were able to raise him up onto their platform.
Ushery finished the story by jokingly saying he might be working with an animal protection group soon, just like the dog. The broadcast concluded in laughter. Flip the page to check out the hilarious slip-up by Ushery, courtesy of TMZ.
