The New York Giants have a new franchise quarterback….or so they hope so.
Daniel Jones was drafted at #6 overall to bring the Giants back to the promised land after Eli Manning’s time is up. Manning hasn’t seemed to take this whole process very well and he it sounds like he didn’t take it too well once the Giants took Daniel Jones.

I mean sure, I’d be salty too if I brought a franchise two titles and they’re forcing me out the door.
But in this case, I wouldn’t because Eli Manning just isn’t good anymore.
This isn’t some sort of new groundbreaking information, this has been known for years. Eli sounds like he’s just now finding out how far in decline he really is.
But on the another hand, if I loved the franchise I brought two titles to, I’d want my replacement to be at least halfway decent. Based on what a lot have seen, Jones isn’t good.
Time will tell if that’s wrong, but man it doesn’t look good early.
