The Warriors are up 2-0 against the Portland Trail-Blazers in the Western Conference Finals.
Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and co. have been able to move forward so far in this series without their two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant.
The Warriors used a 14-3 run in the final 4:20 of game two to get the win as they get ready to play game three tonight in Portland.
The fact that the two-time defending champions have been able to win their last four games, including games 5 and 6 against the Rockets without Kevin Durant, hasn’t been lost on those observing this team.
With Durant set for free agency, and his availability for the remainder of the playoffs in doubt, folks are wondering if the Warriors can win a championship without him.
The Warriors seem to be much more free on the court without Durant and have figured out ways to win.
Earlier in the week after game one, Seth Curry of the Blazers made an observation that the Warriors are faster and tougher to guard without Durant on the floor.
Apparently Durant doesn’t agree with the observation and took to IG to address the idea that the Warriors are better without him.
Check out Durant’s response when addressing the idea the Warriors don’t need him on the floor.
