Roger Federer came in at No. 5 racking in $93.4 million, Canelo received $94 million, Neymar Jr had $105 million, Cristiano Ronaldo with $109 million, and Lionel Messi with $127 million. Neymar, Ronaldo, and Messi are all legends in soccer so it’s not so surprising to see them make this much money but to all be in the top three is very surprising. Another notable surprise in this list is the lack of MLB players. We see so many $200+ million contracts handed out in this era such as to Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.
