After former NBA player Carmelo Anthony’s lovechild and “business trip” on a yacht, his wife Lala Anthony is in search for help – in a legal sense.
According to People, the couple has actually been separated for “quite some time” despite their public affection for one another on social media.
The couple got married in 2010 and were legally separated in 2017 after Carmelo got 24-year old Mia Burk pregnant. Then it seems Lala and Carmelo reconciled in December 2018.
Lala spoke about her reconciliation with Carmelo in February.
“I think that marriages are hard and I always see whoever tells you different, they’d be lying. I’ve been with my husband for 14 years now, so if you think you’re going to go through 14 years without no bumps or in the road, you’re fooling yourself. It’s about how you respond to it and sometimes things happen just to make the unit stronger and help you guys grow. And I think that’s been the case for us…we’re still working through some things but I’m happy to be in a much better place right now.”
Yet Carmelo is seen with another woman in France on a yacht on June 25, Lala’s birthday. He claims what we saw was a meeting with a married Instagram model and his business partner who wasn’t’ visible at the time. Supposedly an insider said she is married, her husband and brother were there for the Jordans brand retreat.
