Pastor John Locke is not a fan of Colin Kaepernick.
The pastor took to his Twitter account to give his thoughts on NIKE pulling the Betsy Ross Flag sneakers after Colin Kaepernick spoke out against their release. Kaepernick called the design offensive, and reportedly complained about the flag because it flew during an era in which slavery was in practice. As a result, NIKE shelved the release of the sneakers.
Locke voiced his displeasure with NIKE pulling the shoes because of Colin and then proceeded to take aim at Colin directly. Locke called Colin out for being offended by everything, compared him in a way to Big Bird, and suggested that he’s causing more trouble for black people.
Twitter immediately called Locke out on his hypocrisy. One user, Lizz Winstead went at Locke for cheating on his now ex-wife with his secretary. Apparently there’s some truth to this.
Per Friendly Atheist, Locke’s ex-wife, Melissa, gave her version to the couple’s married life, which includes Locke hitting his wife, shaming her for gaining weight and being emotionally abusive. Melissa also provided text messages to back up her story.
