Former NBA star and current Big 3 coach Kenyon Martin is the latest athlete seeking court-ordered relief from his current child support obligation.
The Blast has obtained court documents from Martin’s child support case in 2007 in which he was ordered to pay $3,000.00 a month to ex-wife Heather Martin. The pair have 3 children together, two of which are still minors and require support.
Kenyon has petitioned the court for relief from the current order due to a significant decrease in his yearly income. The current coach reports that his annual earnings are currently a little over $300,000.00, a far cry from the $108 million he is reported to have earned over his playing career.
Kenyon Martin will have his day in court to argue for a reduction on October 1st.
