The Celtics look like they will still be a contender in the East despite losing Kyrie Irving, Terry Rozier Al Horford in free agency. Yesterday, they signed PG Kemba Walker to a 4-year, $141 million max deal and now, they just added Center Enes Kanter.
According to Yahoo’s Shams Charania, Kanter’s deal with Boston is for two years at $10 million with a second-year option. Many wrote off Boston with the departures of Irving and Horford but having Walker, Kanter, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum is still gonna be a fun sight to see for 82 games and the playoffs as well.
Kanter played a solid role in the Blazers getting to the Western Conference Finals this season after Jusuf Nurkic went down with a nasty leg injury. Kanter averaged 13 points and nine rebounds in 2018-19. Flip the page for Twitter reactions to Kanter coming to Boston.
