Kawhi Leonard still hasn’t made his free agency decision but he’s expected to decide between the hometown Lakers and Clippers along with the Raptors, who he just won an NBA championship with. There’s no timetable of when the decision will be made but he’s now holding meetings with teams.
According to James Wattie of CBS Toronto, Leonard is holding his final meeting at the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto with the Raptors. He’s believed to be meeting with team President Masai Ujiri and GM Bobby Webster. Staying with the Raptors would make all the sense in the world since he just won a championship with them along with his second Finals MVP award. He also wouldn’t have to play in a brutal Western Conference again.
