Lonzo Ball Responds to BBB Co-Founder Alan Foster Saying He Still Has Injured Ankle and Needs Surgery After Trying to Get It Done In Ohio While With Lakers (Video)

Last season, Lonzo Ball had ankle issues and that likely played a role in his development with the Lakers being slowed down. Alan Foster, who helped jump start Big Baller Brand and scammed the Balls out of $2 million, revealed some information about the ankle.

Ball supposedly met with a specialist in Ohio and an MRI confirmed ligament damage to his ankle. He was supposed to have surgery but the Lakers didn’t let it happen as it was unauthorized. Foster maintains his stance that Ball will continue to struggle with the ankle until he gets the surgery. He added that if he had the surgery, the Lakers would’ve worried about his trade value. Prior to considering the surgery in Ohio, Lakers reps flew there immediately to get Ball.

The Balls and the Pelicans have medical proof that there’s no issue with Lonzo’s ankle, according to TMZ Sports. The Pelicans also added that “The team strongly debunks this and was very aware of Lonzo’s injury history and status [before we traded for him].” Ball family spokesperson Denise White also shut down Foster’s claims by saying “Alan Foster has repeatedly lied, defrauded and stole from the Ball family. Anything he says cannot be trusted.”

Lonzo has wanted no part of the BBB since Foster’s wrongdoings and even covered up his BBB tattoo. His father, LaVar, has since tried everything to keep the BBB name but Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo aren’t with it. No one can blame them though for not wanting to associate with BBB anymore after being done wrong.
