The New England Patriots are one of two teams that remain unbeaten. However, it hasn’t been pretty for the defending champs.
If not for their defense and special teams generating points, we could be singing a different tune. While the struggles of the Pats offense have been a little overstated, Tom Brady and company definitely have things to clean up.
Many assume that retired tight end Ron Gronkowski will make a return later in the season. If he does, don’t look to give the credit to Brady.
“I love that guy. I’m so happy that he’s enjoying his time, his life. He seems to really be doing a lot of great things. He knows how I feel about him. I want what’s best for him. He’s the only person that can make those decisions. I don’t lobby for those things,” Brady said Monday morning in his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show.”
Just in case Gronk doesn’t return, the Patriots are looking to bring back Benjamin Watson.
